Glowing in the Dark!

Can't tell who is more excited about the new glow in the dark dragon tattoos, father or sons. They're giggling inside the bunk bed fort with flashlights! My kids have the coolest dad...

Tater Tots

The boys decided after awhile that it was more fun to pretend THEY were potatoes.

They really do remember everything you say and do.

Boone: "Look mama! Iron Man is excersizing!"

Lincoln: "That's right Boone! He's doing the 'down under dog'!"

I'm baaack!

I'm told frequently that I need a place other than facebook to document the crazy/funny things that I witness on a daily basis, being mom to three boys under 4. The easiest way I've found to keep track of my kids quotes, moments I don't wanna forget is posting a quick fb status update. So now I'm back to blogging! I keep having this fear that one day I'll wake up and my page will somehow be gone and these memories deleted from the cyberworld.

So, Hudson is 11 weeks old today. It has FLOWN by. He has changed so much in such a short period, and I cannot imagine a more perfect, smiley baby. He's super chill, so happy and content. We couldn't be more blessed. That Kirk Douglas chin dimple, and those enormous hazel eyes are the ideal image to wake up to. However, lately I've been waking up to Lincoln and Boone in our bed around 7:30am, whispering and giggling. Are they trying not to wake me up? Who knows. They aren't too sneaky. Always thought it would be exhausting having a kid-pile alarm clock, but then I realize how sad I'll be when the day comes when I drag them out of their beds and send them off to school. Trying not to think about my babies as teenagers just yet. Treasure these early morning snuggles.
Gotta remember that.

Tonight during dinner, I was explaining to them that I am their daddy's wife. They comprehend cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers, grandparents etc. Lincoln (almost 4 yrs) turned to Boone (2 yrs) to see if he understood correctly, "Boone, so she is my daddy's Hudsonband?" Boone responded, "Yesh, baby Husson's mommy's wife." Looks like we'll have to keep working on that one.

Another blog worth topic...p90x! That's right. Immediately after giving birth to Hudson I was determined to get my body back. In between each pregnancy I lost all the weight 4-6 months later by using weight watchers (and let's face it, breastfeeding helps), but this time I am determined to get toned and beach body ready. Working out 6 days a week with three kids in our tiny cottage is definitely a challenge but I am determined to make it happen and I'm already seeing results. Three weeks down, nine to go. My inspiration? Johnny and I have finally booked our honeymoon! Six and an half years afterour wedding and we're finally going on a 6 day cruise to the Bahamas! Come February, it'll be the first time the two of us have gone away for more than 2 days. I can hardly contain my excitement!

Today I was at Growing Pains, our local children's consignment store, and found a brand new Dumbo costume thatwas just way too hilarious to pass up. Lincoln has never seen the movie before, but when I got home and pulled it out of the bag, he squealed, "Oooh! That looks so comfy!" He hasn't wanted to take it off since. I love shopping there in September. I think I may have to stock up on costumes as the kids have been very into dressing up lately. May it be a collaboration of superhero gear like Batman America, Superhulk, you name it. They've done it. Heck, we've even had Post-It Man when there are no costumes to dress in! Oh, the imaginations of these youngins...
