I'm told frequently that I need a place other than facebook to document the crazy/funny things that I witness on a daily basis, being mom to three boys under 4. The easiest way I've found to keep track of my kids quotes, moments I don't wanna forget is posting a quick fb status update. So now I'm back to blogging! I keep having this fear that one day I'll wake up and my page will somehow be gone and these memories deleted from the cyberworld.
Gotta remember that.
Tonight during dinner, I was explaining to them that I am their daddy's wife. They comprehend cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers, grandparents etc. Lincoln (almost 4 yrs) turned to Boone (2 yrs) to see if he understood correctly, "Boone, so she is my daddy's Hudsonband?" Boone responded, "Yesh, baby Husson's mommy's wife." Looks like we'll have to keep working on that one.
Another blog worth topic...p90x! That's right. Immediately after giving birth to Hudson I was determined to get my body back. In between each pregnancy I lost all the weight 4-6 months later by using weight watchers (and let's face it, breastfeeding helps), but this time I am determined to get toned and beach body ready. Working out 6 days a week with three kids in our tiny cottage is definitely a challenge but I am determined to make it happen and I'm already seeing results. Three weeks down, nine to go. My inspiration? Johnny and I have finally booked our honeymoon! Six and an half years afterour wedding and we're finally going on a 6 day cruise to the Bahamas! Come February, it'll be the first time the two of us have gone away for more than 2 days. I can hardly contain my excitement!
Today I was at Growing Pains, our local children's consignment store, and found a brand new Dumbo costume thatwas just way too hilarious to pass up. Lincoln has never seen the movie before, but when I got home and pulled it out of the bag, he squealed, "Oooh! That looks so comfy!" He hasn't wanted to take it off since. I love shopping there in September. I think I may have to stock up on costumes as the kids have been very into dressing up lately. May it be a collaboration of superhero gear like Batman America, Superhulk, you name it. They've done it. Heck, we've even had Post-It Man when there are no costumes to dress in! Oh, the imaginations of these youngins...

I still have the costume box from the kids childhoods. What memories- I think it was the capes they liked the most. But my fav outfit was cowboy boots with diapers...and nothing else! Wish blogging was invented then so I could have had it all to remember again. No matter how busy you are, make time to journal it in your blog!
